My roommate from Chapel Hill recently went on a hiking excursion out West and posted several photos of his exploits. One of the photos of Zion National Park shows a much different scenery than what I am accustomed to seeing from Zion. I decided to use that photo as a basis for this painting. I did not ask his permission, sorry Marty, if it sells, I am sure he will want a cut in the earnings to defer travel costs.
