While living at a local hotel after our house fire, the drama of life played out a little differently than it would have from my home. Rising to the thin air of the fourth floor, I was no longer earth bound. I was in the domain of birds. Soaring above ground level, my perspective of the sky and clouds had transformed. The tall trees no longer dominated my view of the world. Only the treetops were visible.
