A Small bright red Jon boat smoothly moved in front of me while I was Plein Aire painting one day. The vivid colors of the boat and the happy laughter of two people on it caught my attention. Their happiness was infectious and inspired me to stop my current painting and start a new one. Their talk and joy seemed to give me energy to paint in a new loose style. Now whenever I look at the painting on my wall, it brings back good memories and makes me smile. Thinking about selling this painting makes me feel a bit sad as it holds a special place in my heart.
