This is my attempt at painting a small Latin fishing town in Central or South America. I did the painting for an event sponsored by the Nuestro Arte Gallery here in Hattiesburg. Rarely do I deviate from subjects around my neighborhood, state parks or family vacations. I found the experience to be surprisingly enjoyable. Creating, in effect, a fictional place. Maybe one day I’ll find an inlet similar to this painting in my travels.
