The wonderful thing about memories is that your mind fills in much of the missing information. Smells are richer, tastes are tastier, colors are more brilliant, well you get the picture. My daughter’s wedding took us to L.A., and I have a lot of memories of the event and the California landscape. This painting is not from any photo I took, and if the truth be known it isn’t all that accurate, but it is one of the memories that my mind shows me when I think back to that wonderful week.
